Broken Blood by Heather Hildenbrand, review

Holy smokes. This series became like the perfect series! I am definitely having a book hangover right now!

I mean Broken Blood just blew me away. Such an amazing ending. I laughed, i cried, i cried some more. Fell in love. #TeamWes won, and i knew it was meant to be but i do love me some Alex. And i could tell there was something betwen him and Angela when they met. And that's okay. But i still like me some #TeamAlex. Tara came such a long away from Dirty Blood and grew up so much between what? That year-two years? Very strong character. I definitely bought the paperbacks. So worth it. Total *****5 STARS***** the whoel series was epic. Adventure, danger, mystery, passion, friendship, everything you could ask for. It's a YA (Young Adult) paranormal romance series. You k now, teenage agnst and what not. I'm like snap. It's over. It will definitely be apart of my reread collection!

I thought watching my Werewolf boyfriend get arrested for murder was the worst experience of my life. But then I was knocked out and dragged off to a cell of my own by the very people who were supposed to protect me from danger.

I thought being held prisoner in solitary confinement for weeks on end was the worst experience of my life. But then a visitor came, and I realized I’d been wrong all along. There are worse things than torture and death. Much worse.

He wants my blood. More than that, he wants to get into my head. To use my bond to control his army, to wipe the world clean of anything with dirty blood. I can’t let that happen, but if I don’t he’ll kill every single person I’ve ever cared about—beginning with my Werewolf pack.

The prophecy said I would have to make an impossible choice, but I must be doing this wrong—so far every choice I’ve made has only led to more pain and danger and death. Hunters are pitted against Werewolves and I’m alone in my war against Gordon Steppe. I can’t fight him off anymore; all I can do is try to keep him out of the important places. And I’m failing at even that.

I thought the demons were out there, clearly marked and clinging to the shadows. But they’re not. The monsters are within the ranks of those sworn to protect. The enemy is among us.

And while i don't have any highlights, every part of this book was my favorite. I didn't put it down! Just total AMAZEBALLS!

L8ers, baby! Happy reading!

Cold Blood by Heather Hildenbrand, review

Oh. Mama. This series is really sucking me in. I barely get any sleep! I couldn't put it down though. Incredible second installment. Cold Blood had me glued to each page! And I get to meet this woman @ UtopYA in June. That's like oh me gee to the max. If you haven't picked up your copy of this book, get it. If you haven't even started the series, BOOK 1 IS ***FREE*** so get it. I'm not into the YA most of the time but I do like the paranormal aspect. Tara's character is a real in-your-face guts and glory, all in kinda girl that has been shoved into this world of Were's & Hunters and being a hybrid has its own challenges. At the end of book two, you totally see Tara's life change. I know it's for the better. She has some amazing destiny and I can't wait to continue reading!

Blood bond here I come!!

Wood Point Academy is not at all what I expected.

For one thing, it looks like a cross between military school and Buckingham Palace. Everyone stares, the floors shine so bright you can see your reflection in them from a mile away, and no one smiles. Unless they're kicking your butt in the process.

At least I've got plenty to take my mind off the fact that my psycho cousin, Miles De'Luca, keeps calling and declaring his love and promising to come for me just as soon as he's destroyed anyone standing in our way. Wes isn't going to like that idea. So between Miles, Wood Point's evil welcoming committee, and the drill sergeant hottie trainer from hell, I just keep asking myself, how did I end up here?

My highlights

I love Edi. She's the grandma you'd wish for even though she can make you crazy. And the whole thing about her Ina hummer? LOVE IT!

I really like Alex's character. Idk who I want to win Tara. I admit, I am on the fence. #TeamWes or #TeamAlex ?!?! Tibia hard to tell. Hopefully book 3, blood bond will help me choose from those two yummy book boyfriends!

Happy reading!!! Peace!

Dirty Blood by Heather Hildenbrand, review

I've been totally reading nothing but paranormal YA. Crazy right? Thought I'd read the Dirty Blood series. Again. I think I've read the first two or three books. That I hated waiting. If you're a reader you know this struggle. Lol. It is so REAL.  So...before inhabit really gotten into this book. Have it a 4 STARS's but now that I have gotten into the whole YA (young adult) paranormal romance/teen whatever it is, I thought I'd reread the series.

I really loved reading this book. Dirty Blood was an awesome read. Once again, I was up all night reading. I could NOT put it down. Excellent read for young adults!

I killed a girl last night. I did it with my bare hands and an old piece of pipe I found lying next to the dumpster. But that’s not the part that got me. The part that scared me, the part I can’t seem to wrap my head around and still has me reeling, was that when she charged me, her body shifted–and then she was a wolf. All snapping teeth and extended claws. But by the time I stood over her lifeless body, she was a girl again. That’s about the time I went into shock. And that was the moment he showed up.

Now, all I can do is accept the truths that are staring me in the face. One, Werewolves do exist. And two, I was born to kill them.

**Fans of YA Paranormal, Hunters, Shifters, and Werewolves will love the Dirty Blood series!**

I will say that I'm happy and loving reading this series I will be buying the paperback. Hopefully-maybe miss Higginson sells signed copies!!!

My highlights

Loved that. And that's how it should be. No man should make a girl feel she should be last. Right on, Tara!! #HighFive

I really just loved that part. Who does have one of those fancy cars huh? Not this gir. Until later!

Happy reading!! Peace!!

Ignite by Kaitlyn Davis, review

Perfect 5 stars for me!
I absolutely loved reading this book. I don't know why I haven't gotten the paperbacks yet. (That will be remedied) I loved this book the first time I read it and so glad the series is complete so I can surge on through.

Kira Dawson has the power to burn vampires to a crisp. The problem is, she doesn't know it yet. The even bigger problem is, she's dating one.

When Kira Dawson moves to South Carolina, she meets Luke, a blond goofball who quickly becomes her best friend, and Tristan, a mysterious bad boy who sends shivers down her spine. Kira knows they're keeping secrets, but when she discovers Tristan's lust for blood and her own dormant mystical powers, Kira is forced to fight for her life and make the heartbreaking decision between the familiar comfort of friendship and the fiery passion of love.

Ignite is the first book in the Midnight Fire Series. It is approximately 65,000 words.

Just got •°bLoWn AwAy°•

..::Holy Moly::..
5 stars!
°My GR & Ammy Review°
The turn of events has been leading to this moment. This book is by far my favorite. And what Zach was...ahem. You know. I won't spoil it but now that is some awesome stuff. The fact that he was.... I mean. What girl wouldn't swoon at his feet? Each new book gets bolder & better. I cried. I laughed. I got angry. I loved. This book was everything I could have imagined it to be & more.
-.-.-.-.-
That being said. I was totally blown away by Night Unbound. I mean. Literally floored. The swirl of emotions that raced within my veins was heady with desperation to swipe faster. Just to get to the next page. Zach was perfect. And he's definitely perfect for Lisette's character. Being a female IG is rare but that means in no way is she weak.

The new threat that strikes is one not even Seth can compute until he finds true evidence. And what happens to Lisette? Omgosh. Zach was a savage warrior in the midst of devastation and he turned out to be just why they need to help decimate the new super soldiers. As old as Seth, Zach learns what it means to take a new path. To deviate from others expectations. To find true happiness in their world. I do hope Seth does get an HEA too. One day.

This book held so much more than I could even imagine. I couldn't put it down. Reading well into the night. Unputdownable. *****FIVE EPIC AMAZING STARS***** or really like a million. I will have to reread this book many times. Therefore...I think buying the paperbacks are in order. If you haven't read this book or started this series, please IIMPLORE you. Do so. You will not be disappointed.

°*°My Highlights°*° and there are many. So- <SPOILERS AHEAD>
That is just the front face matter. A
taste of you will.
I really love that. Beautiful quote.
This was funny. And Zach's jealousy is endearing. Idky. But it is.

Without even batting an eye. "Where's the shovel?" Got to love a friend like that. No ?'s asked. Although the fact he thought it was because of...what I highlighted. I mean. Omg. Hilarious.
There again. No questions asked. Love these men. (Secretly awaits and desperately needs Ethan's story! August can't come fast enough). Lisette is funny. I must say. I love this book.

And Bastien's response. °priceless°

Some of these vamp's earned a soft spot in my reading heart. And these IG guys have no humility sometimes. They just say exactly what they mean.
And now it gets emotional and heartbreaking.
David. The calm one in these sitch's amazes me.
And then the bomb drops.
What would happen if one of them have the IG's blood. Hmmm? I so wanna know.

I don't know why but this just made me smile. The fact he "needs" a moment. He's just so overwhelmed with desperation to save the woman he loves.
And then Zach just goes in for a pound. Fuck the penny. It's like you can feel the raw emotion seep from the pages.

Marcus. Love that guy.

Siblings. Let's just say if any of my siblings caught me giving my man a BJ. O_O I'd probably laugh. After the embarrassing moment passed.

Those three screenshots were together. I love how Zach, who could be as antisocial as Roland, has a heart (even when he believed he didn't possess one anymore) could profoundly melt a girls heart and he makes sure she knows exactly how he feels.

This book was epic. Just simply perfection and epic. Best in the series so far. Swoon worthy and action packed.
